Asynchronous Transfer Mode

Microsoft® Windows® 2000 provides native Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) services, which integrate ATM functions with the Microsoft® Windows® family of operating systems. Windows 2000 supports ATM applications in a variety of networking situations, including ATM LANE and IP over ATM, all of which are detailed throughout this chapter.
