Returns a pointer to a function used to call a contention handler. The function is either in VCOMM itself or another VxD that manages contention for a VCOMM resource. It is used with the resource handle returned by VCOMM_Map_Name_To_Resource to make requests of the contention handler. The contention management requests are described in the following.

• Returns a pointer to a function used to call a contention handler if successful, or an error otherwise. To get extended error information, use _VCOMM_GetLastError.

PortName

Buffer that contains the address of a null-terminated string specifying the name of the port or the friendly name of the port.
