WIDM_GETPOS

Sent to a waveform input device driver to request the current input position for a waveform. The input position is relative to the first recorded sample of the waveform.

The return value is an error code, or zero (MMSYSERR_NOERROR) if the operation is successful. Possible error codes are:

MMSYSERR_NOTENABLED

The driver failed to load or initialize.

DWORD dwParam1: Specifies a far pointer to an MMTIME structure.
DWORD dwParam2: Specifies the size of the MMTIME structure.

The wType field of the MMTIME structure indicates the time format requested by the client. If the driver cannot support the requested format, it should return the position in a format that it does support, and change the wType field accordingly.
