Windows Media Player Custom Player Kit
Internet content providers (ICPs) and system administrators often need to customize the Microsoft® Windows Media™ Player to brand it (customize the user interface) and to control it (customize the network settings). The Windows Media Player Custom Player Kit (WMPCPK) enables ICPs and system administrators to customize the stand-alone Windows Media Player.
The Windows Media Player Custom Player Kit consists of customization bits, such as the Wmp-cstm.inf file, and instructions on how to customize, install and uninstall, and package the Windows Media Player. To download the customization bits for x86 and Alpha platforms, plus instructions, click here.
