Plug-in Samples
The Microsoft® Windows Media™ Player plug-in samples show how to embed the Windows Media Player control in a Web page with scripting that works correctly in browsers that support embedding, such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft® Internet Explorer.
The following table describes the plug-in samples.
Sample Description Sample1 This simple HTML application shows how to embed the plug-in in an HTML page so that the scripted page works in browsers that support embedding. Sample2 This HTML application shows how to use properties and methods exposed by the plug-in. Sample3 This sample application shows how handle events with basic scripting. Sample4 This sample shows more advanced scripting for event handling using external Microsoft® JScript® proxy files (.js). Sample5 This sample shows how to use JScript proxy files and Microsoft® Visual Basic® Scripting Edition (VBScript) on the same page.
