EC_DVD_BUTTON_CHANGE Event

Signals that either the number of available buttons has changed, or the currently selected button number has changed.

Syntax

MediaPlayer_DVDNotify(Event, Param1, Param2)

Parameters

Event Value that resolves to 263 if this event occurs.
Param1 DWORD value indicating the number of available buttons.
Param2 DWORD value indicating the currently selected button number. A value of zero indicates that no button is selected.

Remarks

Button numbers range from 1 to 36.

The currently selected button can change automatically with a navigation command authored on the disc as well as through application control by using the properties and methods that effect button selection.

This event can signal any of the available button numbers. These numbers do not always correspond to button numbers used for the ButtonSelectAndActivate method, because that method can activate only a subset of buttons.

All domains raise this event. For more information on domains, see the CurrentDomain property.

For information on how to use this event code, see DVDNotify.
