BufferingTime Property

Retrieves a value specifying the buffering time in seconds.

Syntax

[ dblTime = ] MediaPlayer.BufferingTime

Possible Values

dblTime Double value from 1 to 30, specifying the buffering time in seconds.
This property is read-only. The default for Advanced Streaming Format (ASF) content is 5 seconds. The default for video-on-demand (VOD) content is 3 seconds.

Remarks

The buffering time is the number of seconds the Microsoft® Windows Media™ Player control allocates for buffering incoming data before playback begins.

The valid range for this property is from 1 through 30 seconds.
