CanPreview Property

Retrieves a value indicating whether the current content contains a playlist that can be previewed.

Syntax

[ bPreview = ] MediaPlayer.CanPreview

Possible Values

bPreview Boolean value indicating whether the current playlist can be previewed. If true, the playlist can be previewed.
This property is read-only with a default value of false.

Remarks

If the value of this property is true, Microsoft® Windows Media™ Player can be operated in preview mode by setting the PreviewMode property to true. When the Windows Media Player is in preview mode, it renders a few seconds of each clip in the play list. By default, the length of time each clip plays is 10 seconds; however, you can set the preview duration in an Advanced Stream Redirector (ASX) file with the PREVIEWDURATION element.
