File Transfer Control Samples

The following samples show how to program the File Transfer control in HTML and VBScript. All of the samples require a specific IP address and port for a server running Windows Media Services. To use these samples, you must modify the address and port so that they point to the server from which you receive the files.

Note   You must have the File Transfer control (Nsfile.ocx) installed in order to run the following samples. These samples are not fully functional unless Windows Media Services is installed on a server. To download the complete suite of Windows Media Services components, see the Windows Media Technologies page at the Microsoft Web site.

Sample Description
Receiving Multicast with Cancel and Error-Checking Shows how to receive a multicast file by using the File Transfer control, with error-checking enabled.
Receiving Multicast with Progress Shows how to receive a multicast file by using the File Transfer control, while displaying progress and transfer statistics.
Receiving Multicast with Sender Verification Shows how to receive a multicast, and verify the sender.
Total Demo Combines the features of the other samples into one unified demonstration.
