Windows Media Services Authentication API
The Authentication API feature of Microsoft® Windows Media™ Services is designed to provide the foundation for creating custom authentication plug-in components known as authenticators. The first part of this overview presents a programming guide to using the Authentication API. It includes an introduction to the concept of authentication, and an explanation of how a server running Windows Media Services collaborates with the authenticators. It provides tips and samples that help you to learn how to write a custom authenticator. The second part covers the programming reference materials of the API.
