Windows Media Unicast Controls Programming Guide

Windows Media Unicast service, contained in the Nsunimgr.ocx file, includes two Microsoft® ActiveX® controls: Windows Media Unicast Admin and Windows Media Unicast TraceView. The Admin control also manages various objects. This section of the Windows Media Technologies Software Development Kit (SDK) describes the functionality exposed by these controls, and how it is used to create custom administration, monitor applications, and integrate Microsoft® Windows Media™ Services into other software products. The overview lays a conceptual foundation, and provides practical guidelines for programming with the Windows Media Unicast controls. This guide is divided into the following sections.

Section Description
About the Windows Media Unicast Controls Describes the architecture of the Windows Media Unicast Admin and TraceView controls.
Using the Windows Media Unicast Controls Describes how to use and program the Windows Media Unicast Admin control and TraceView control in your applications.
Windows Media Unicast Controls Samples Provides sample applications that illustrate how to manipulate the Admin and TraceView controls by using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Microsoft® Visual Basic® Scripting Edition (VBScript), C, and C++.

To use the Windows Media Unicast service controls in Windows Media Services, the Nsunimgr.ocx and Nsoobj.dll files must be present and registered on the computer.
