To edit the properties of a file:

1. In VSS Explorer, select the file whose properties you want to change.
   
   
2. On the File menu, click Properties, then click the General tab if it isn't already selected.
   
   
3. Make your changes.
   
   
4. Click Close after your changes are complete.
