Running Visual FoxPro 3.0 for the Macintosh Files

Although you can run FoxPro for the Macintosh screens and Visual FoxPro 3.0 for the Macintosh forms from Visual FoxPro version 5.0 or later directly, you must recompile Visual FoxPro 3.0 program (.prg), form (.scx), query (.qpr), menu (.mpr), report (.frx), database (.dbc), and class library (.vcx) files to run them in Visual FoxPro version 5.0 or later.

To run Visual FoxPro 3.0 applications in Visual FoxPro version 5.0 or later

1. Use the COMPILE command with any Visual FoxPro 3.0 .prg, .scx, .qpr, .mpr, .frx, .dbc, or .vcx file.
   
   
2. Use the DO command on the recompiled file.
