BORDER Attribute | border Property


Sets or retrieves the width of the border to be drawn around the object.

Syntax

HTML<ELEMENT BORDER = iBorder ... >
Scriptingobject.border [ = iBorder ]

Possible Values

iBorderInteger that specifies the number of pixels in the object's border.

The property is read/write with no default value.

Expressions can be used in place of the preceding value(s), as of Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5. For more information, see Dynamic Properties.

Remarks

Setting a border to zero or omitting the attribute causes no border to be displayed. Supplying the BORDER attribute without a value defaults to a single border.
