Inserting the HTML Help ActiveX Control

Inserting the HTML Help ActiveX control into a help topic or Web page involves adding an object tag at the location you want the functionality to appear. The HTML Help ActiveX Control Wizard enables you to insert the object tag for the control. The wizard can also be used to edit existing instances of the object tag.

To insert the HTML Help ActiveX control into a topic

  1. Open an HTML file, and then position the cursor at the location where you want the ActiveX control functionality to appear.
  2. Click HTML Help ActiveX Control, and then follow the instructions on your screen.

    HTML Help ActiveX Control

    Opens the HTML Help ActiveX Control Wizard, which enables you to insert or edit the control in an HTML file.
