To Specify the Default HTML Topic File for a Compiled Help File

  1. Open a project (.hhp) file, and then click Change Project Options.

    Change Project Options

    Specifies files, compiler, window, and other project settings.

  2. Click the General tab, and then in the Default file box, enter the name of the HTML file you want to appear when a user opens the compiled help file.
