IHTMLAreaElement::get_search Method


Retrieves the substring that follows the question mark (?) symbol in the href property of the AREA object.

Syntax

HRESULT get_search(
    BSTR *p
);

Parameters

p
Address of a string (BSTR) variable that receives the query string or form data. For details, see the search property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Windows CE

Windows CE Use version 2.12 and later
Minimum availability Internet Explorer 4.0

IHTMLAreaElement::put_search Method


Sets the substring that follows the question mark (?) symbol in the href property of the AREA object. This is the query string or form data.

Syntax

HRESULT put_search(
    BSTR v
);

Parameters

v
String (BSTR) value that specifies the query string or form data to set. For details, see the search property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.
