IMarkupPointer::Left Method

Moves the pointer one position to the left.

Syntax

HRESULT Left(
    MARKUP_CONTEXT_TYPE *pContext, 
    IHTMLElement **ppElement, 
    long *pcch, 
    OLECHAR *pchText
);

Parameters

pContext

Address of a MARKUP_CONTEXT_TYPE enumeration that contains the different options for the Right and Left methods.

ppElement

Address of a pointer to an IHTMLElement interface that embeds the pointer after the move.

pcch

Address of a long variable that specifies the number of characters to move.

pchText

Address of an OLECHAR structure that specifies the text at the pointer.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.
