IHTMLRuleStyle::get_left Method


Retrieves the value of the left attribute for the element.

Syntax

HRESULT get_left(
    VARIANT *p 
);

Parameters

p
Address of a variable that receives the value of the attribute. The value is a string consisting of a floating-point number and a units designator. The variable receives NULL if the attribute is not set. For details, see the left attribute.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Minimum availability Internet Explorer 4.0

IHTMLRuleStyle::put_left Method


Sets the value of the left attribute for the element. The attribute determines the left position of the element.

Syntax

HRESULT put_left(
    VARIANT v 
);

Parameters

v
String or value that consists of a floating-point number and a units designator. Set this parameter to NULL to remove the attribute. For details, see the left attribute.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Minimum availability Internet Explorer 4.0
