IHTMLWindow3::setInterval Method


Evaluates an expression after a specified number of milliseconds has elapsed.

Syntax

HRESULT setInterval( 
    VARIANT *expression,
    long msec,
    VARIANT *language,
    long *timerID 
);

Parameters

expression
Address of a VARIANT structure that returns a string that specifies the code to be executed repeatedly at the specified interval.
msec
Long variable that returns a numeric value or numeric string that specifies the time-out interval, in milliseconds.
language
Address of a VARIANT structure that returns a string that specifies the language in which the code is executed.
timerID
Address of a long variable that receives a time-out identifier. This identifier is used only to cancel the evaluation with the clearTimeout method.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.
