1. To apply for licensing and distribution capabilities, click the link below to download the agreement.
2. Save the file to your disk and then unzip it.
3. Open the agreement file in Word and print out two copies.
4. Read it and fill out the license completely, especially the first paragraph. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted. If you are an individual and not a corporation (company), put your own name in the blank for corporation (company). To sign the license you must be of legal age.
5. Sign both copies.
6. Send the two original signed copies by postal mail to:

   Redmond, WA 98052

7. This license agreement is not effective until countersigned by Microsoft. Microsoft will return a countersigned copy back to you by mail or fax at your request.

Please note that any modifications to this agreement will void the license. This license is only available in English.

Please note that the ACF and ACA files for the Microsoft Agent characters are available on request, but require a signed distribution/license agreement. The ACF/ACA format of the characters is not provided without a signed license agreement. Developers wishing to host and distribute this format should so indicate, by including the request and name of the character(s) when they request the license agreement.
