Lesson 1: Building a New Website

Saving the Page

Before continuing, it is a good idea to save your work.

To Save the Current Page

  1. On the FrontPage Editor's File menu, choose Save As.

The Save As dialog box is displayed.

You can choose to save the current page to your FrontPage-based Web site, to the World Wide Web, to your file system, or as a page template. You can also change the page title and the URL of the page in the Save As dialog box. URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator. It is the unique name that will be used by a Web browser to locate and display the page.

  2. Click OK without making any changes.

    FrontPage saves the current page.
