Simulates the specified IME hot key, causing the same response as if the user had pressed the hot key in the specified window.

Syntax

HRESULT SimulateHotKey(
    HWND hWnd,
    DWORD dwHotKeyID
);

Parameters

hWnd

[in] Handle to the window.

dwHotKeyID

[in] Unsigned long integer value that contains the identifier for the IME hot key.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Remarks

This method maps to the ImmSimulateHotKey function documented in the Microsoft® Platform Software Development Kit (SDK).
