Add a record navigation control to a data access page

When you add a record navigation section to a group level, Microsoft Access automatically adds a record navigation control. Use this procedure for a group level that has a record navigation section but doesn't have the record navigation control.

  1. Open the data access page in Design view.

  2. Click Record Navigation Record Navigation control in the toolbox.

  3. Click the record navigation section where you want the record navigation control.

  4. Specify the number of records you want to display for this group level when you open the page in Page view or in Microsoft Internet Explorer

Note   You can set properties to customize a record navigation control. For example, on a grouped page, you can hide the buttons that add and delete records.
