Set document properties such as title, subject, and author for a data access page
- Open the data access page in Design view or Page view
- On the File menu, click Page Properties.
- Set properties as needed on the following tabs:
- General This is the same information that is displayed when you right-click the name of a file in Microsoft Windows Explorer and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. The only difference is that when you view these properties in Microsoft Access, the Attributes settings are read-only.
- Summary The information that you enter on this tab is added to the SummaryInfo Document object in the Documents collection. This information is similar to the summary information that you can provide in other Microsoft Office applications. Summary information allows you to better identify a page both from within Microsoft Access and from other programs such as the Microsoft Windows Find Files program. The Hyperlink Base setting on the Summary tab is used to create the base hyperlink path that is appended to the beginning of relative HyperlinkAddress property settings.
- Statistics This information includes the date and time that the active page was created, the last date and time it was modified, who modified it, the number of times it's been revised, and the total editing time.
- Contents This information includes the title and the connection string.
- Custom The custom properties that you enter become properties of the UserDefined Document object in the Documents collection.
