Show or hide the status bar for a specific Access database or Access project
- On the Tools menu, click Startup.
- Select or clear the Display Status Bar check box.
Notes
- Changes to this setting in the Startup dialog box won't take effect until the next time the Microsoft Access database or Microsoft Access project is opened.
- You can also control whether the status bar is shown or hidden by default for all Access databases or Access projects. To do this click Options on the Tools menu, click the View tab, and then select or clear the Status Bar check box. The current Access database or Access project won't display a status bar if either the Status Bar check box in the Options dialog box or the Display Status Bar check box in the Startup dialog box is cleared.
