Restore original settings for a built-in menu

1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
   
   
2. Show the menu bar or toolbar that contains the built-in menu you want to restore to its original settings.
   
   
3. Leave the Customize dialog box open. On the menu bar or toolbar, right-click the menu you want to restore, and then click Reset on the shortcut menu.

Notes

• If you restore a menu (for example, the Edit menu), the menu is restored in all views that have that menu.
  
  
• You can also return to the default commands on the personalized menus that appeared when you first started Microsoft Access.
