Move or copy a menu command

1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
   
   
2. Show the menu bar, shortcut menu, or toolbar that contains the menu with the command you want to move or copy. If you're copying or moving the command to a different toolbar or menu bar, show that bar, too.
   
   
3. With the Customize dialog box open, click the menu on the menu bar or toolbar, or click the shortcut menu that contains the command you want to copy or move.
   
   
4. Do one of the following:
   • To move the command, drag it over the menu where you want to place it. When the menu displays a list of commands (or an empty box if it's new), point to where you want the command to appear on the menu, and then release the mouse button.
     
     
   • To copy the command, hold down CTRL and drag the command over the menu where you want to place it. When the menu displays a list of commands, point to where you want the command to appear on the menu, and then release the mouse button.

Note   If you move or copy a command to a built-in menu (for example, the Edit menu), the command appears on that menu in all views that have that menu.
