Delete a command from a menu

1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
   
   
2. Show the menu bar, shortcut menu, or toolbar that contains the menu command you want to delete.
   
   
3. With the Customize dialog box open, click the menu on the menu bar or toolbar, or click the shortcut menu that contains the command you want to delete.
   
   
4. Drag the command you want to delete off the menu away from any other menus or toolbars.

Note   If you delete a command from a built-in menu (for example, the Edit menu), the command is deleted from that menu in all views that previously had that menu with that command.
