Before you can create, copy, save, or manage folders and files on a Web server, you must have access to one. To find a Web server that you can connect to, see your system administrator.

Viewing and managing folders and files
You can use the Web Folders feature to save a data access page to a Web server. You can access Web Folders from Windows Explorer or from Microsoft Access in the Open (File menu), Save As Data Access Page (page File menu), or Locate Web Page (Edit Web page that already exists object shortcut) dialog boxes.
The Add a Web Folder Wizard is located in the Web Folders root directory in Windows Explorer. You can use this wizard to create a folder that is a shortcut to a Web server. Each of these shortcuts is called a Web folder. You can also create a Web folder in Microsoft Access from the Open, Save As Data Access Page, or Locate Web Page dialog boxes by clicking Web Folders on the Places Bar, and then clicking Create New Folder . After you create the Web folder, you can save data access page files and folders to it.

You can view and manage data access page folders and files in a Web folder in three ways:
In Windows Explorer When you view the contents of a Web folder, you see a list of folders and files, and their associated URLs. You can move, copy, rename, and delete these files and folders just as if they were on a regular file server, and you can view the folder and file properties. You can also drag and drop files between Web servers, between a Web server and a file server, and between a Web server and your hard disk.
In Access From the Open (File menu) or Locate Web Page (Edit Web page that already exists object shortcut) dialog boxes, you can view and open the contents of Web folders. From the Save As Data Access Page dialog box (page File menu), you can save a copy of a data access page to a Web folder. You can also create a Web folder by clicking Web Folders on the Places Bar, and then clicking Create New Folder .
In a browser If you connect to a Web server that runs Microsoft Office Server Extensions, you can view the contents of Web folders and associated file system properties in your browser.
