Create a script on a Web page

Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript) is the default script language added to your Web page. Change the default script language.

1. Open the Web page in Design view or Page view.
   
   
2. On the Tools menu, point to Macro, and then click Microsoft Script Editor.
   
   
3. In the Microsoft Script Editor, write your script. Learn about the Microsoft Script Editor.
