previousSibling Property


Retrieves a reference to the previous child of the parent for the specified object.

Syntax

HTML N/A
Scripting[ oElement = ] object.previousSibling

Possible Values

oElementObject that specifies a reference to the previous sibling of an object.

The property is read-only with no default value.

Example

This example uses the previousSibling property to obtain the previous sibling of a list item.
