IHTMLSelectElement::get_disabled Method


Retrieves the value that indicates whether the control is enabled or disabled.

Syntax

HRESULT get_disabled(
    VARIANT_BOOL *p 
);

Parameters

p
Address of a VARIANT Boolean structure that receives VARIANT_TRUE if the control is disabled, or VARIANT_FALSE otherwise.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Remarks

The default value for this property is VARIANT_FALSE. A disabled control appears dimmed and does not respond to user input.

Minimum availability Internet Explorer 4.0

Sets the value that indicates whether the control is enabled or disabled.
