IHTMLStyle::get_left Method


Retrieves the value of the left property for the object.

Syntax

HRESULT get_left(
    VARIANT *p 
);

Parameters

p
Address of a variable that receives the value of the property. The value is a string consisting of a floating-point number and a units designator. The variable receives NULL if the property is not set. For details, see the left property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Minimum availability Internet Explorer 4.0


IHTMLStyle::put_left Method


Sets the value of the left property for the object. The property determines the left position of the object.

Syntax

HRESULT put_left(
    VARIANT v 
);

Parameters

v
String or value consisting of a floating-point number and a units designator. For details, see the left property. Set this parameter to NULL to remove the property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.
