IHTMLStyle::get_letterSpacing Method


Retrieves the value of the letterSpacing property for the object.

Syntax

HRESULT get_letterSpacing( 
    VARIANT *p 
);

Parameters

p
Address of a variable that receives the value of the property, or NULL if the property is not set. For details, see the letterSpacing property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Minimum availability Internet Explorer 4.0


IHTMLStyle::put_letterSpacing Method


Sets the value of the letterSpacing property for the object. The property determines the amount of space to add to the default space between letters in the object's text.

Syntax

HRESULT put_letterSpacing(
    VARIANT v 
);

Parameters

v
String or value that specifies the amount of space to add. A negative value is valid. For details, see the letterSpacing property. Set this parameter to NULL to remove the property.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.
