Open an existing table in Design view, or create a new table.
In the upper portion of the window, type a name for the field that you'll use to store the hyperlinks.
In the Data Type column for that field, select Hyperlink.
Click Save on the toolbar to save the table.
For information on entering hyperlink addresses in a form or datasheet, click .
Notes
In Datasheet view, you can create a field to store hyperlinks by clicking the Hyperlink Column command on the Insert menu and then typing the hyperlink address in the new field.
If you create a table by importing data, Microsoft Access automatically makes any column that contains URLs or UNC paths a Hyperlink field. Access will convert the column only if all the values start with a recognized protocol, such as "http:" or "\\". If even one value starts with an unrecognized protocol, Access won't convert the column into a Hyperlink field.
