In the Insert Object dialog box, click Create From File, and then specify a path to the file. If you don't know the path, you can click Browse.
Select the Display As Icon check box if you want the object to appear as an icon instead of as the object itself. Displaying an object as an icon can be helpful when an object contains supplementary information that doesn't have to be displayed. Displaying an object as an icon also uses significantly less disk space.
Click OK.
If you're in Form view, Microsoft Access displays the object. If you're in Datasheet view, Microsoft Access displays the name of the object, for example, "Bitmap Image."
If you need to edit the object, double-click it.
Notes
If the application that you're copying from supports OLE drag-and-drop editing, then you can drag the file directly from Windows Explorer or the desktop instead of using the Object command.
You can adjust the size and proportions of the object after you paste it.
You can also insert a bound object in a table or in a query datasheet. Just select the field that you want to insert the object into (it must be an OLE Object field or an image column), and then follow steps 4 through 7. In order to see the object, you must create a bound object frame on a form or report.
