Open a data access page
To create a data access page, or to open a page in Design view, Page view, or in Microsoft Internet Explorer, you must install Internet Explorer 5 or later if it isn't already installed.
Open a page in Design view or Page view
- In the Database window, click Pages under Objects.
- Click the data access page you want to open.
- On the Database window toolbar, do one of the following:
- To open the page in Design view, click the Design button
- To open the page in Page view, click the Open button.
Note You can also open a page in Page view by clicking Open on the File menu in Microsoft Access. Access opens the page without opening the database that the page is connected to, so wizards, builders, and add-ins are not available.
Open a page in Internet Explorer
Do one of the following:
- In Access, open the data access page in Design view or Page view, and then click Web Page Preview on the File menu.
- If Internet Explorer is your default Web browser, in Windows Explorer, double-click the HTML file to open the page in Internet Explorer without first opening Microsoft Access.
