Preview the layout of a report
Layout Preview is a fast way to check the layout of a report because Microsoft Access uses just enough data from the underlying table or query to show you what the report will look like. If you want to review the exact data that will appear in a report, use Print Preview. For more information, click .
Notes
- If the report is based on a query that prompts you for parameters, you don't need to enter any values; just click OK. Microsoft Access ignores the parameters when you choose Layout Preview.
- You can use the navigation buttons at the bottom of the Print Preview window to move between pages. You can move around the current page using the scroll bars, or, if you have a Microsoft IntelliMouse, using the wheel button.
