Prevent or allow access to all built-in toolbars in an Access database or Access project
- On the Tools menu, click Startup.
- Clear or select the Allow Built-in Toolbars check box.
Notes
- Changes to this setting in the Startup dialog box won't take effect until the next time the Microsoft Access database or Microsoft Access project is opened.
- This option does not affect toolbars for PivotTable lists or spreadsheets on a data access page.
- To enable users to modify built-in toolbars, make sure both the Allow Built-in Toolbars and Allow Toolbar/Menu Changes check boxes are selected. To prevent users from customizing all built-in toolbars, select the Allow Built-in Toolbars check box, but clear the Allow Toolbar/Menu Changes check box.
