under Objects, and then double-click the query name, or select the query and then click Open on the Database window toolbar.Microsoft Access displays the results of a select or crosstab query in a datasheet. You can display the datasheet from query Design view or by clicking Open on the Database window toolbar.

To stop the query, press CTRL+BREAK. (This procedure may not work for very large queries, however.)
