IHTMLObjectElement::get_BaseHref Method


Retrieves a string of the BASE href where the object tag can be found. This is often the base href of the document that the object is in, or the value set by a BASE element.

Syntax

HRESULT get_BaseHref(
    BSTR *p 
);

Parameters

p
Address of a string (BSTR) variable that receives the BASE href.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error code otherwise.

Remarks

The BASE element is used to ensure that your document's relative links are associated with the proper document path.
