• Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML)
  VRML, a subset of Silicon Graphics' Inventor File Format, is a scene description language used for coding three-dimensional, interactive Web graphics similar to those found in video games. VRML allows the user to "move around" within a Web-based graphic image and to interact with objects. To view VRML Web pages, users need a VRML-enabled browser such as WebSpace from Silicon Graphics, a VRML add-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer, or a VRML plug-in for Netscape Navigator.
