Design or modify a query

In query Design view, you can do any of the following procedures to complete the design of a new query you just created or modify an existing query. You can also use these procedures to modify an SQL statement that's the source of records for a form, report, or data access page. Changes you make in query Design view are reflected in the SQL statement.
