- Except for the properties on the General and Statistics tabs in the Database Properties dialog box and the properties of a data access page, file properties can also be manipulated by using Visual Basic for Applications.
- When you are trying to locate a Microsoft Access database, Microsoft Access project, or data access page by using the Open dialog box, you can use the find criteria to specify the properties of the file you are looking for. For example, you can search for a database whose Contents property includes a table named Suppliers. Learn how to search for data files using file properties.
